Woman Allegedly Treated KLIA As Home For 1 Year, Uses Water, Electricity & WiFi For Free

Checks found that the local woman was in possession of a mental health card.
A woman was seen behaving aggressively towards members of the public at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1, sparking concern among travellers after a video of the incident circulated on social media.

The video, which went viral on TikTok, showed the woman confronting others at the terminal.

She was reportedly upset over children playing in the area and was seen raising her voice during the confrontation, drawing attention from nearby passengers.

The clip was uploaded by a netizen and led to speculation online that the woman had been staying at the airport for an extended period, with some claiming she had been using the departure hall as a temporary living space.

Following the circulation of the video, police confirmed they had received a report regarding a disturbance at KLIA, according to Kosmo! and Buletin TV3.

KLIA District Deputy Police Chief Supt Albany Hamzah said officers were deployed to assess the situation after receiving complaints about the woman’s behaviour.

Checks found that the local woman was in possession of a mental health card, and she was subsequently referred to Hospital Kajang for further action on Thursday.
