## Where will the money go?

Transport Minister Anthony Loke [said the revenue generated from the initiative would be channelled back through programmes by the Ministry of Transport and JPJ, including road safety initiatives and projects benefiting the public.](https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1509005811255823&set=pb.100064392565882.-2207520000)

The result also marked a milestone for JPJeBid, with MOT describing the strong response as a reflection of the public’s acceptance of digital bidding services.

For comparison, the previous record for a Malaysian number plate was held by “FFF 1”, which was sold for RM1.75 million in 2024, meaning the new H 1 bid surpassed it by several times.
