Blind boxes are often favoured by many as it provides buyers the thrill of not knowing yet being expectant of the whether it contains the toy they’ve secretly hoped for.

In a press release provided to WeirdKaya, the man from Selangor bought a System Play 05 ticket to play the Magnum 4D Jackpot, with the numbers 9523 and 5763.
He said the numbers were inspired by his girlfriend’s birth date and the serial number of a blind-box figurine he bought as a surprise gift for her.
“When my girlfriend unboxed the figurine and actually got the one she had been hoping for, something within told me to pair its serial number with my girlfriend’s birth date on the ticket.
“I don’t really understand blind boxes since it’s more of her thing, but I just wanted to make
her happy, just like how she never stops me from playing Magnum 4D, even though she
doesn’t play it herself,” he said.
And to his shock, those numbers were what turned out to be the key to unimaginable riches as they were the winning numbers that led him to winning a whopping RM13,256,447.
“We never expected this. It’s surreal. Maybe this is what people feel when they get the ‘secret’ prize from a blind box. But for us, it’s much more than that.
“It’s life changing. We may have different hobbies, but now we share the same joy,” he added.
