A 19-year-old girl was left bleeding profusely from her back after she was stabbed with a sharp object by an unknown man in Melaka.
Thankfully, several members of the public quickly came to her aid and she was sent to the hospital to be treat for her injuries.

According to Malay Mail and Sinar Harian, the incident occurred at around 4.45pm yesterday (Oct 20) when the victim was returning home to Batu 9, Tangga Batu, while riding pillion with her sister-in-law, who worked at the same factory as her.
When they reached Jalan Tangga Batu, opposite Taman Tangga Batu Section 1 in Tanjung Kling, the suspect, who was clad in black clothing, approached them on another motorcycle and stabbed the victim in the back.
The attack left the victim’s back completely covered in blood but she was rescued by members of the public who were at the scene. She was later taken to Melaka Hospital by an ambulance for further treatment.
Suspect arrested
When contacted by Malay Mail, Melaka Tengah district police chief Assistant Commissioner Christopher Patit said police have arrested a man in his 20s at a house near the scene at about 10.30pm on the same day.
The suspect will be brought to the Ayer Keroh Court Complex today for a remand application.
The case is now being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years’ imprisonment, a fine, or whipping upon conviction.
