He earns more than office jobs.
While many Malaysians are struggling to keep up with rising living costs, one delivery rider has found a surprising source of stable income and now wishes he had started much earlier.

The man shared that he earns around RM4,500 to RM5,000 a month just by doing deliveries, a figure that shocked many online.

As reported by mStar, he admitted that before joining the gig sector, he thought working as a rider wouldn’t pay well as compared to a regular company job.

But after giving it a try, his perspective completely changed. He said that on average, he makes around RM1,250 a week and enjoys the flexibility that comes with the job.

His day typically starts after Subuh (dawn prayers) and ends around 6pm, with short breaks in between for meals or rain.

He also shared that he always pauses work during prayer times, saying the freedom to manage his schedule is one of the best parts of being a rider.

Sometimes, the best decisions are the ones we make a little late, as long as they change our life for the better.
