# Johor Man Smacks The Back Of Wife’s Head For Attending Concert With Another Man

**Angry and jealous that [his wife had gone to a concert with another man and not him,](https://www.hmetro.com.my/mutakhir/2026/10/1429726/tonton-konsert-bersama-lelaki-lain-wanita-dipukul-suami) a lorry driver in Johor assaulted and threatened her at knifepoint.**

However, his hotheaded act led him to more trouble after his wife called the police, who remanded him for four days.

## 'You might as well die!'

According to the police report made by the suspect's wife, the incident occurred at around 8.30am yesterday (Oct 29) when the suspect accused her of cheating on him.

He then allegedly slapped the back of her head before pulling a knife on her and saying, *"You might as well just die."*

The assault caused the victim to sustain injuries to her head and scratches on her nose before she filed a police report at the Tongkang Pechah police station.

## Went to concert with another man

Preliminary investigations later discovered that the suspect became incensed when he found out that his wife had attended a concert with another man behind his back.

On top of that, she also reportedly brought their daughter along to the event as well.

The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing voluntary hurt, where the suspect faces up to one year imprisonment, or a maximum of RM2,000 fine, or both if convicted.
